    Please note that special event permits will not be issued until further notice (with the exception of funerals), this includes re-schedule events that have been cancelled. Those with general special event questions can contact eventpermits@nola.gov

    Payments may now be made online through the OSS App. Payments may continue to be dropped off at City Hall, but the 7th floor will not be accessible to visitors.

    Foremost, I want to let your members and the rest of the construction community know that the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement will continue to operate as it relates to the permitting and review process including inspections. However, we will no longer be allowing members of the public to meet with staff. I am kindly requesting that you assist me in spreading the word to your members to use My Permit Now, email communications and the telephone to conduct business until further notice. I will be posting this information on our website shortly. In the event that it is necessary to conduct a meeting, the administration has advised that we may use an alternate location such as a Parish gym or library which is now closed to the public for that purpose.
