From Aimee Vallot, Director of Jefferson Parish Code Enforcement, to the HBA,

Foremost, I want to let your members and the rest of the construction community know that the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement will continue to operate as it relates to the permitting and review process including inspections. However, we will no longer be allowing members of the public to meet with staff. I am kindly requesting that you assist me in spreading the word to your members to use My Permit Now, email communications and the telephone to conduct business until further notice. I will be posting this information on our website shortly. In the event that it is necessary to conduct a meeting, the administration has advised that we may use an alternate location such as a Parish gym or library which is now closed to the public for that purpose. I thank you in advance for your assistance and cooperation during this extremely unique and difficult time. With warmest regards, I remain yours truly.”
