International Energy Code transition

Louisiana's House of Representatives unanimously passed H.B. 803 in April, and the State Senate followed suit with the Governor's signature coming in June. With the new law requiring the advancement of Louisiana's Energy Code beyond the current 2009 version, Louisiana will be positioned to possibly receive 200 million dollars in federal funding to assist the advancement of the Energy Code.

6 hours of continuing education credit from ICC and LSUCCC.

The class is intended to:
1) Highlight many of the changes and increased requirements that will be introduced with the 2023 IECC.
2) The class will utilize multiple software and use hands on demonstrations to explain and help attendees to better understand the reasoning and effects of the newly increased standards.
3) Ultimately provide the attendees with a deeper understanding of standards, how these standards change the building's performance, as well as how and when to apply the applicable standards.

Bobby has over 20 years of experience in Designing and certifying HVAC systems, Condensation control, moisture management, and Energy auditing and spends the majority of his time doing building failure analysis.

Bobby regularly develops and presents building science based CEU classes for entities such as The Department of Energy and Coastal Conservation at Louisiana State University (LSU), Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA), Department of Energy (DOE), Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and many Home Builders and Manufactured Housing Associations in numerous states.
