HBAGNO Property Insurance Task Force
2022 HBAGNO President Katner formed this task force in 2022 to address ongoing concerns about property insurance availability in southern Louisiana. 2023 President Mills continued the task force under the leadership of Charlie Fontenelle of Fontenelle and Goodreau Insurance who is chairing the task force.
The task force has grown in membership and gained endorsements from numerous regional leaders including LDI, JEDCO, GNO, Inc, Senator Talbot, and many more.
The TF recommended and the HBAGNO Board approved a resolution to support the implementation of permitting reroofs and utilizing digital evidence during inspection. This will require an exception to ACT338.
The group meets the 2nd Monday each month at 4p,
